A nicely mounted 1914 star / bar trio to Thomas Walker
with an original cap badge.
Thomas Walker 2nd battalion was a prisoner of war from early on in the war and may have been held at Limburg POW camp where all the Irish were incouraged to join the Casement Brigade by Sir Roger Casement himself so more research required.
Thomas landed in France on the 14th aug 1914 with The 1st Corps Sir douglas haigs 2nd division, 5th Infantry Brigade.
thomas was born at 30 Gibson Street, Hyde Road, Manchester.
